I Cesaroni, Amendola gets a few things off his chest and attacks some former cast members: "They said they hated it, now they want to come back"

There is great anticipation for the new series of I Cesaroni but filming has just begun and controversy has already broken out. Claudio Amendola in fact wanted to comment with harsh words on the choice of some members of the original cast not to participate in the new project. In particular, the Roman actor lashed out against Alessandra Mastronardi, Max Tortora and Elena Sofia , who played Eva, Ezio and Lucia respectively in the series.

"No one left the cast because of us, starting with Mrs. Ricci," Amendola said. "Because then it seems like we're the ones who don't want their participation. They're all actors who told us: 'Goodbye and thank you, we hate it.'"

Amendola then took a few things off his chest when speaking from the stage of the Italian Global Series Festival in Rimini: "One says: 'Okay, I'm going back now. I've been at home for a while, maybe it's time for me to go back and do it'. Oh no, you could have thought about it before". The train for those who would like to return therefore seems to have definitely passed. "Open doors for those who bring, those who don't bring can go", concluded Amendola. No controversy, says the actor, but the feeling is that the actor is denying the evidence.
